Information That We Collect

Glass Design Global processes your personal information to meet our legal, statutory and contractual obligations and to provide you with our products and services. We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and do not process your information in any way, other than as specified in this notice.

We do not collect data from people under 16 years of age.

Glass Design Global takes your privacy very seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent; unless required to do so by law. We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purpose(s) specified in this notice. Where you have consented to us providing you with promotional offers and marketing, you are free to withdraw this consent at any time.

We do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other than for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement.

If we wish to pass your sensitive personal data onto a third party we will only do so once we have obtained your explicit consent, unless we are legally required to do otherwise.

We have issued all our third party processors with a Data Processor checklist asking them GDPR specific questions

If we transfer personal data to a third party or outside the EU we as the data controller will ensure the recipient (processor or another controller) has provided the appropriate safeguards and on condition that enforceable data subject rights and effective legal remedies for you the data subject are available.

Consequences of Not Providing Your Data

You are not obligated to provide your personal information to Glass Design Global, however, as this information is required for us to provide you with our services/deliver your products/legitimate interests, we will not be able to offer some/all our services without it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Glass Design Global retains personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. We are required under relevant tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. All other personal data is kept as long as long as you are actively engaged with us plus 1 year.

Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.

Glass Design Global will occasionally send you relevant industry content by email that have been identified as being beneficial to our customers and in our interests. Such information will be relevant to you as a customer and is non-intrusive and you will always have the option to opt-out/unsubscribe at any time. Glass Design Global only processes your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data protection laws. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the processing of yo ur personal data or are unsatisfied with how we have handled your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Retention of your personal data

Data will not be held for longer than is necessary for the purpose(s) for which they were obtained. Glass Design Global will process personal data in accordance with our retention schedule. This retention schedule has been governed by our internal governance.

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data is being processed by Glass Design Global or how your complaint has been handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority and Glass Design Global data protection representatives Data Protection Officer / GDPR Owner

If we are collecting your data for a contract (e.g. Public Liability or Employers insurance policy) and you cannot provide this data the consequences of this could mean the contract cannot be completed or details are incorrect.
